Every Sabbath they all gather Men, and women, mothers, fathers, Children, babies, youth, and aged Come because they need their Bread. Some are joyful and well rested, Others struggle, courage tested, Some are hurting in their body, Others strong and hale and hearty. Small ones eager, almost running, Hurts ones, gingerly are limping, Mercy workers who missed sleeping Still pursue their Sabbath keeping. Tempted ones, tired of failing, Toddler who is loudly wailing, Walking, wheeling, skipping, jumping, All have come to praise the King! All these sinners, broken souls, God transforms; One Body Whole! He who gave his Son to be Broken, bruised on Calvary. Gave His Body for our Bread, That we would this day be fed. Gave His blood for wine for us, Healing us from brokenness. Thus we’ve come to bless our Savior Marv’ling that He shows us favor And by name He does us know. Praise God who makes broken, whole!
