Oh come let us the Rock ascend, 
With joyful praises without end. 
May our thanks like crystal springs,
Flow from us unto our King!

Let our praises now expand 
O’er His lovely pleasant land,
Deep as all the seas He’s filled, 
High as all his lofty hills. 

Shall we kneel in tender grass,
As our Shepherd by does pass?
Our Creator He does keep, 
We, his own devoted sheep. 

God forbid that we should stray,
As Israel did back in his day, 
Hearts of stone and stopped up ears,
Grieved our God for many years. 

Til he swore a strong decree, 
They would not enter in His peace. 
Oh keep us from that wilderness, 
Hide us in your righteousness!
