My hidden heart a temple is A sacred sphere of joy and bliss. God forbid that secret sins Would dare to congregate within. This is a place for you dear Lord, Where with you delights afford. I marvel at Your love for me When I remember Calvary. Your temple is a holy place, O let not me defile this space. You deserve it pure and clean, Free from sin that is unseen. Petty sins knock at the door; Pride and discontents galore, Criticisms, unkind thoughts, Fears and worries, ifs and oughts. Help me rebuff those spoiling sounds, That I may bask in Love Profound, And praise and bless the Trinity, Sweet foretaste of eternity.
